PROTECTING EUROPEAN CULTURE

Friends, members and supporters of the EUROCULTURE association during our visit to the occupied north on Saturday 3/9/16, from where the photos were taken.

As it is known, our association, a non-profit organisation, has a very strong interest in all social, cultural and educational matters, but mainly in the conservation and protection of our monuments, in the occupied area of Cyprus.

All the participants expressed their satisfaction for the pilgrimage but also their disappointment at the destruction, looting, devastation and humiliation of the occupied churches, monasteries and cemeteries that has occurred by the Turkish occupying forces.
