WHO WE ARE
ABOUT EUROCULTURE
The Pancyprian cultural and educational association EuroCulture is based in Nicosia Cyprus. The association was founded in 2008 and was officially registered in 2010, mostly by youths with sensitivity and concern towards cultural and educational issues. Despite its short existence, the association has managed to leave its mark in society through various activities and participation in European programs.
Through various acquaintances with European bodies, the association is in a growth phase where it would like to receive and give. To receive from the experiences of the older and more experienced bodies and provide opportunities to disadvantaged groups (disabled, immigrants, large families, poor, illiterate) and the same access to education and culture. Additionally, the association would unreservedly like to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Cyprus that is thousands of years old and is unfortunately under constant threat due to the continuing partial occupation of Cyprus by Turkey.
Our association has been involved in vocational education and training for the unemployed through a series of actions and contacts with government bodies and non-profit organisations both within Cyprus and abroad engaged in education.
